- Routine prenatal visits and screenings

In addition to maternity services, Karen offers Primary GYN care, including PAP and STI screening, family planning, hormonal birth control, IUD placement and removal, and preconception counseling.

Graceful Beginnings prioritizes Safe Birthing Practices by tailoring care to each family’s needs while adhering to proven, evidence-based protocols. With a calm and experienced presence, Karen acts not only as a midwife but also as a birthing coach, helping families feel informed, confident, and cared for throughout their journey.
The practice is an out-of-network provider for many health insurance plans, including Tricare. While not all insurance covers homebirth, some plans offer partial reimbursement for prenatal and postpartum care. At this time, AHCCCS plans are not accepted.
