Snooks
Snook is a bright silver-white fish with a dark dorsal fin. They are often found swimming among the rocky bottoms of creeks or canals interrupted by human activity. You will need at least a fishing rod, reel lures, and bait to fish for snook. A snook lure can be a rectangle of flat metal, plastic, or rubber foil with a hook on one end. Baits needed to catch snooks include shrimp, mullet, crabs, squid, and worms.
Cobias
The cobia is a big fish with powerful fins. To catch them successfully, you must have the right tools. They are carnivores and consume a wide range of food, including other fish, crabs, shrimp, and shellfish. Cobia can be fished using spearfishing, trolling with lures, and anchoring. When fishing, you may want to use a small boat because these fish are known for their long runs and hard pulling. The best baits to use when fishing cobias are live minnows, pinfish, clams, or lures that resemble small crustaceans.
Speckled Trouts
It has a bright orange body with black patches and little speckles, which are the only markers of its genetic identity. Speckled trout are found in creeks and streams near a slow-moving water source, such as a pond or stream. Fishing can be done through a rod and reel, fish traps or nets, or live bait fish. With speckled trout, live bait, such as live shrimp, pinfish, or greenbacks, works incredibly well. The beautiful thing about these fish is that they will readily take artificial bait.
King Mackerels
King Mackerel is a marine fish found in warm, tropical waters worldwide. It is best known for its speed and capacity to leap out of the water. If you love sport fishing, go mackerel fishing. Trolling is the primary method used for catching king mackerel. They live in school, so it is easier to catch one by yourself. It is advisable to set them up with jigs, plugs, and spoons because those are the baits that attract them. Other baits include pilchards, threadfin herring, menhaden, mullet, and blue runners.
